FRE develops tailored solutions and prototypes, creates and licenses intellectual property rights, and provides consultation to critical technology issues. FRE bases its research and engineering work on the highest academic performance and quality. We provide research project planning and management, algorithm design, development of new functional materials, modelling services of complex materials, information risk surveys, and software quality evaluations.
FRE has developed a patented method and computer code for modelling and analyzing disordered materials. Focus is on the engineering materials, examples being ferroelectric and magnetic oxides. Materials modelling includes nanoparticles, multilayer thin films and crystalline materials. Our research experience covers several experimental techniques, such as Raman scattering, neutron and x-ray diffraction (both synchrotron and laboratory scale facilities) and computational modelling.
